Fred Parker- "Herbert"
Fred studied drama at the University of Texas at Austin. During his time there he was in the world premier play of Tennessee Williams' "Spring Storm" directed by Michael Bloom. Fred has also done some commercial and film work. Some of the features Fred has been involved with include "The Alamo," "The Ringer," "Man Of The House," and the new Mike Jugde film, "Idiocracy." Next spring Fred will be moving to L.A. to continue pursuing acting. Tom Foolery Productions wishes him all the best.

Emily Miner- "Lizzy"
Emily grew up in Houston and studied musical theatre at the University of North Texas. She later moved to Austin to pursue her interest in theatre and film. She has worked with Yellowtape Construction Company in "Hobbled", ArtSpark Theatre and Game Development Festival in "The Stack", and the Vortex theater in "Sleeping Beauty." She has also been in a few short films by local independent filmmakers. Like Fred Parker, she says this will be her last year in Austin as she is moving not to L.A., but to New York. We also wish her all the best.

David Ford- "Mike"
David Ford was born and raised in East Texas. He graduated from NSU in Oklahoma, where he had played football with the hopes of possibly going pro. Unfortunately, an injury prevented that from happening, but while in Oklahoma he was an extra in a film and "caught the acting bug." He has since worked on several projects with "Wake Up, Herbert" his first major role in a feature film. Regarding acting, Ford says, "…I like to step out of myself and become somebody else. I like the adventure of it and meeting new people."

Kathy Morris- "Margaret"
Kathy Morris has a long and interesting history in acting, appearing in such films as "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, "Heartbreak Hotel," and "DOA." She has also appeared in several television productions including two episodes of "Dallas," "Adam- His Song Continues," and several KidsKlub episodes. Additionally, she has appeared in several commercials as well as performed in live theatre. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys singing, swimming, and gardening.

Steve Uzzell- "Walter Hauser"
Over the past 20 years, Steve has appeared in numerous motion pictures and television programs, including "Honeysuckle Rose," "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas," "Barbarosa," "Knott's Landing," "Falcon Crest," and "Walker Texas Ranger." His impressive resume also includes a pile of regional and national commercials. In addition to his extensive acting experience, Steve says his own real-life role as "Dad " was perfect inspiration for playing Herbert's father.

T.L. Heathman- "Josh"
T.L. was born in Kerrville,Texas and grew up Fredericksburg before moving to Austin, where he currently lives. He currently is focusing on his acting career, with "Wake Up, Herbert" being his first major role in a feature film. He has two dogs: a Schnauzer named Pork Chop and a Boston Terrier named Chico. He enjoys watching movies and going to concerts. His main focus now is his acting career.

John Boles- "Ronald"
John is a native Texan happily married to Margaret for thirty-three years. While raising their three children, John worked as a General Contractor. He studied Drama at Sam Houston State University and worked for the playwright John Patrick for three years in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. For thirty years, John volunteered in civic theatre on both sides of the curtain. John is now exploring a career in film through classes and coaching in Austin and has just signed with Erin Franklin of Agence Talent.

Tony Bottorff- "Tony"
Tony Bottorff is a seasoned actor represented by Ciao! Talent Agency. Tony can currently be seen in national commercials for CiCi's Pizza, Chevy Truck, and General Mills. Tony is also busy with film, working on 4 independent feature films and 6 student films this year. When Tony is not working in front of the camera, he likes to play his bass guitar with bands, Blue Voodoo and Crossfish. Tony can also be seen on CMT.com playing bass guitar on Amber Dotson's music video, "I'll Try Anything" or being a bar brawler in Dierks Bentley's music video, "What Was I Thinkin". Tony enjoys quality time with his wife, Jennifer, son Nicholas, and dog (boxer), Rocky. Tony enjoys working out at the gym, running at Town Lake, and sitting on the back porch.

Lou McKinley- "Tammy"
Lou is a trained actress presently signed with Austin Models & Talent of Round Rock, TX. She began her acting career a little more than ten years ago starting out as an extra. She took a personal hiatus from her acting career for several years and came back recently as a full time actress and model. She now intends to put her focus fully on her acting career by participating in both student and independent films. Look for her in print in the Fall/Spring 2006 edition of the Austin Convention Center Meeting Planners Guide and in an upcoming print and television campaign for The Texas Council On Family Violence. She can also be seen in Mike Judge's newest film, "Idiocracy."

Haja Scott- "Edna"
Originally from Queens, NY, Haja was raised in Houston with both her parents native West Africans. As a child her aspirations were always to become an "astounding" actress and then later a "brilliant" movie producer. She holds a BBA in accounting and works as an accountant for the University of Texas. Additionally, she is a small business owner of a women's clothing line called Toombas. Future goals include solidifying meaningful work in television, film, and theater and contracting her clothing designs to be used in domestic and foreign films as well as other projects.

Gerald Williams- "Electronics Salesman"
Gerald was born and raised in San Antonio. He graduated from John Marshall High School and went on to get an engineering degree from Trinity University. Gerald started acting in December 2004 and was featured in a short play in January of 2005. He has since gone on to perform in several local plays, a few commercials, and a couple of independent films.

Alexandra Glomb- "Sales Girl"
"Ally" was born in Temple, Texas, but moved to California when she was three months old. She lived in Nebraska and Florida before moving to Austin six years ago. Currently she is a junior at Lake Travis High School where she is very involved with the drama program. Her interest in acting began at an early age when her older sister, Liz, would recruit her to be in home movies. Unfortunately, as the little sister, she was always forced to play "the retarded boy" or "the dog." "Wake Up, Herbert" is her first role in a feature film.

Jenna Pearce- "Second Sales Girl"
Jenna was born in Iowa City, Iowa where she lived until moving to Austin in 1996. She was very involved in soccer and golf in high school, but currently is pursuing an acting career. She loves sports, is very creative with scrapbooks, and enjoys decorating her house. She will be attending the University of Iowa this spring to finish her education and stay involved in the theatre program.

Gary Dixon- "Radio DJ"
Gary was born in Oklahoma City and moved to Texas at age 10. He is the 2nd of four siblings with one brother and two sisters. He graduated from Texas State University with a Political Science degree and has also served time in the Marine Corps. He made his film debut in a Hollywood film in which he played a police man in "The Insatiable." His first major role in a feature was Banning Kent-Lary's independent movie, "AB-Negative." While working on "Wake Up, Herbert," Gary also worked on Leon Rodriguez's new feature, "CleanSweep."

Mikel McCurdy- "Radio DJ's Girlfriend"
Mikel McCurdy is a new transplant to Austin originally from Norman, Oklahoma. She grew up on the stage, dancing, singing and acting. After high school, Mikel lived in Los Angeles for a year before returning to school at the University of Oklahoma. For her day job, she is a media buyer at a local advertising agency. But for her dream job, she is pursuing acting in Austin's growing film community.

Preston Kirk- "Dr. Livingstone"
Preston has been an extra or featured extra in almost a dozen movies beginning with "The Alamo" (2003). He can be seen in the '80s-style mockumentary, "The Breakdance Kid," a feature-length picture shot in Austin that came out on DVD in October. Also catch him in the horror flick "After Sundown," (aftersundownmovie.com) shot in North Texas in early 2005 and to be distributed direct-to-video in December by Lions Gate Films. He has operated Kirk Public Relations for the past 18 years, returning to the stage at the Hill Country Community Theatre in Marble Falls in 2000, where he has performed in 10 productions, most recently as "Starbuck" in "The Rainmaker."

Matthew Shaw- "Preacher"
Matthew grew up in Houston and studied vocal performance at Houston Baptist University. He later moved to College Station to complete a degree in Journalism and English Literature, and from there went on to receive his Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas. Although not having any formal training as an actor, he has watched a lot of television and seen several hundred movies. This may seem like it doesn't contribute to any skills as an actor, but he has developed a magnificent knowledge of useless trivia. He has toured as a musician throughout Texas and played in Europe as well, capitalizing on his talents as a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter.

Collin Cauley- "Melvin"
Collin is a sixth grader at Hudson Bend Middle School where he enjoys acting in his theatre arts class. "Wake Up, Herbert" is his first experience in front of the camera, but he hopes it's just the beginning of a long acting career. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, playing with his dog, Milo, and driving his older sister, Taylor, insane.

T.J. Leggett- "Alex"
Four-year-old "TJ" was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas and moved to Texas at 12 months old. Although shy around strangers, it doesn't take him long to come out of his shell, especially when it comes to acting. He recently wrapped up shooting on "Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Origin." He was excited about the featured role he landed, but didn't get to meet Leather face, which was sort of a disappointment. TJ can also be seen in "Jumping off Bridges," shot in Austin this past summer. he enjoys playing with Match Box cars and loves anything that has to do with dinosaurs.

Karen Elvonna- "Cocktail Waitress"
Born in sunny southern California, Karen has lived most of her life in the gorgeous Austin hill country, where she attended Westlake High School and Texas State University--San Marcos. Since embarking on an acting career a little more than a year ago, Karen has appeared in a handful of great feature films, two thought-provoking short films, and four very worthy live performances. Always honored to help tell someone's story, Karen finds the challenges of acting endlessly rewarding and credits her creative successes to the continued love and support of her family, friends, and acting teachers.

Mikki Singhal- "Girl in Club"
Mikki was born in India, raised in Africa, educated in England, and now resides in Texas. As one can imagine, dinner table banter with her could be quite interesting. A software engineer by day but always an adventurer, Mikki's latest venture with "Wake Up, Herbert" is just one of her pursuits helping her explore her natural creativity on screen. Heath Shelby- "First Robber"
Heath was born in Alabama, raised mostly in Dallas, and moved to Austin at age 18 to become a full-time "musical omnivore" while working on a degree in history from the University of Texas. He plays drums, is an actor, a journalist, and occasional "Ebay profiteer." Heath's film roles include playing a rookie World War II-era cop, an enamored gringo who butchers the Spanish language as he woos a pretty waitress, a sadistic fraternity hazer, and a slick-talking infomercial shyster. He can most recently be seen in the new Mike Judge film, "Idiocracy."

Caiti Leggett- "Little Girl"
Caiti is a bright and articulate five-year-old with a very cheerful disposition. She was born in Hot Spring, Arkansas and moved to Texas when she was three. Caiti has had a very busy year in 2005. She just wrapped on a Regional commercial for Children's Hospital of Austin and had a supporting role in "Flamingo," part of Austin's 48 Hour Film Project. She appears in "Jumping Off Bridges," shot in Austin this past summer. Caiti was privileged enough to be directed by actress and filmmaker, Nia Peeples, this summer. Ms. Peeples described Caiti as "the gem of the day."

Crissi Rocha- "Second Girl in Club"
Crissi is a native of Louisiana who began her career in radio and television broadcasting more than a decade ago. She holds a B.A. in Spanish and an M.A. in Communication from the University of Louisiana. She studied classical ballet for almost twenty years and was a principal dancer with Twin City Ballet in Monroe, Louisiana. She moved to Austin in the summer of 2005 to begin a career in acting, and has already tasted success, most recently being cast in a leading role a short film. She is a huge Beatles fan and lives with her dog, George Harrison.

Sandra Blair- "Flute Player"
Sandra was born and raised in the suburbs of Houston, Texas. She earned a biochemistry degree from UT in Austin and a medical degree from UTMB in Galveston. Completely changing her path, she tried out to be an extra in "Michael" and failed. Not giving up, she took film and acting classes from Mona Lee and was lead role in several student films. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of being an extra, in "Hope Floats." She played an ER doctor in an independent feature and was also prop master/set designer. She was a stand-in for Jane Adams in "Texas Funeral" where she decided that "stand-in work" was an oxymoron. Taking a hiatus to raise children, she recently returned to acting.

Catherine Leggett - Makeup
Catherine Leggett is an actress and makeup artist. She can be seen in several UT Productions as well as regional commercials. She was featured this summer in "Jumping Off Bridges" along with her children Caiti and TJ. She is glad to be doing the makeup on Wake up, Herbert and enjoys seeing the production moving right along. Catherine's mantra is "We all need color in our life!"

Elaine Falcon- Assistant D.P./Sound
"Wake Up, Herbert" is the first feature for Elaine, who came to the project from Corpus Christi where she currently works as a Studio Floor Manager/Production Assistant at Univision/Koro. She graduated in 1998 from Mary Carroll High School, and later continued her education at Del Mar College where she received her Associates in Arts degree in Radio/Tv/Film production. Elaine is very excited about the opportunity to work on a project like "Wake Up, Herbert" and hopes one day to produce her own independent film.

Mike Willoughby- Music
Originally from South Carolina, Mike has lived in Texas for 25 years. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Speech Communication. Currently he works for Whole Foods Market Headquarters in Austin as the facilities manager. Over the years, he has played in two Austin area bands and spends his free time these days creating electronic music.

Katherine Renee Robinson- Production Manager
Katherine grew up in the small Texas town of Palacios before moving to Austin at the age of seven. She grew up in the entertainment industry, her father being a famous Tejano singer with "the Dino's." She caught the family "show biz bug" early on and took an advance drama class for four years at Pflugerville High School where she played Dorothy in the "Wizard Of Oz." During that time she worked as an understudy in the movie "Hard Promises," with Sissy Spasek. She also jumped into modeling at that time--Calvin Klein ads and such. At the age of 19 she was accepted into Ballet Austin and performed there for four years. She has worked on several movies and currently co-stars in Banning Lary's feature film, AB-Negative. She is married to David Robinson with three beautiful boys, Alex, Taylor, and Ethan, who does acting, modeling and dancing.

David Barrow- Producer/Director of Photography/Editor
David studied architecture at U.T., music at NTSU, RTF at U.T., but never graduated from any college program. He founded David Barrow Productions in 1988, catering to cover bands and small festivals in the Austin and central Texas area. He expanded his talents over the years into web design, video production, video motion graphics, and various other media specialties. He has recorded and produced over 20 CDs for various bands over the years. He also has been involved with various projects for Robert Rodriguez that were included in extra features on "Spy Kids 3-D" DVD, "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" DVD, "Kill Bill 2" DVD, and the "Sin City" DVD. Currently he mixes sound for The Newsboyz, an Austin area cover band.

Steve Cauley- "Nick Phelan", Producer/Director/Writer
Born and raised in Austin, Steve graduated from St. Edward's University with a BA in English after spending two years studying film at the University of Texas. Shortly thereafter, he and his wife, Betsy, moved to the Rio Grande Valley where he worked as a newspaper editor, taught school, and sold cable advertising. To maintain his sanity, he pursued his true love of writing by working on a screenplay under the working title "Herbert Finds His Manhood." In 2002, Steve, Betsy, and their two children, Taylor and Collin, returned to Austin where he completed the screenplay and made the plunge into producing it with long-time friend and technical genious, David Barrow.
